Awesome place right in the heart of south end. Great for the 20-something crowd. Apartments are very nice. Cute dog park, amazing gym.

There are no words to describe the feeling you get when walking into a community where even a first time visitor feels welcome . Society is normally quick to bring up the negative but almost never the positive experiences we encounter. I have always taken my reviews very important and The Penrose deserves a genuine review after providing the service and attention that left me wanting to submit a review. I visit hundreds of communities a month in Charlotte and my experience was nothing less than phenomenal.
